100 Horror Movies in 92 Days 2025- Week 13 Highlights

Halloweenight (2009)I’m wildly behind on getting this posted, but if I’m honest, between the extra freelance articles I wrote in October and the challenge, plus normal Halloween season stuff, I needed some rest! That said, I have one more week of highlights to share! I also reached my goal of 160, actually just over that with 162 watches this year. You can see my full list on Letterboxd. You’re here for some highlights, so let’s get to it!

Here are my 100 Horror Movies in 92 Days 2025- Week 13 highlights:

  • My Cannibal Crush When Tiffany and Gabi become roommates, they both realize the other bears a secret: Gabi is bisexual. Tiffany is a cannibal. This film was absolutely charming and added some regional flair to the cannibalism aspects. The title may sound a little silly, but don’t judge it by that. Give this one a shot!
  • HalloweeNight A college party is the stage for bloodshed and murder on Halloween Night, as a mistreated student exacts his revenge on those who wronged him. Using the effigy of a living scarecrow, his Frankenstein-like creation carries out his heinous plans. One female student, Trix, is the only thing that stands between him and the bloodiest massacre to ever take place on the night of All Hallows’ Eve. As I mentioned in the SOV edition of Horrorverse, Mark Polonia’s tribute to his brother John is a fun little indie movie with lots of autumnal vibes.
  • The StalkingThe Stalking A witch conjures up evil spirits in the form of malignant sunflower plants, which wreak havoc on a small suburban town. And a group of bullied teens must fight to survive these and other terrors that await them on Halloween Night. This follow-up to HalloweeNight is just as charming as its predecessor. It adds to the lore and is an all-around good time!
  • Frankenstein (2025) Dr. Victor Frankenstein, a brilliant but egotistical scientist, brings a creature to life in a monstrous experiment that ultimately leads to the undoing of both the creator and his tragic creation. It goes without saying that this was going to be a film that I loved. It’s beautifully shot, well acted, and I appreciated what Guillermo del Toro did with the story. I’m glad I had the chance to see it on the big screen!
  • Jack-O A group of teenagers looking to have some fun on Halloween deface a gravesite and unknowingly unleash an evil entity known as Jack-O. I might be in the minority on this one, but I thought it was wild and totally my jam!
